I think that people can save whales by reducing trash in the water. We can reduce trash in the water by recycling our garbage. As I saw the whales, I realize that they are very important to us and the enviornment. Maybe someday other people like litterers and fishermen will realize that polluting really does impact everything. They become more and more endangered because of modern day whaling. Whaling is when poachers catch the whales and use the blubber for oil. They do this by cutting it up into pieces and boiling it.

Some Eskimos eat them. The Eskimos use the whales for profit. They need the whales to survive. The Eskimos should not hunt the whales because they are becoming endangered. There are so many other mammals that the Eskimos could hunt, and they could still probably make a profit off of.

Another way that we could save the whales is by reducing the amount of fishermen that are using nets in the ocean. Many people forget the fact that whales are mammals and that they do need to breathe air, even though they live in the water. By getting trapped in the fishing nets, the whales cannot come to the surface to breathe, and therefore, they drown and die.

In conclusion, everyone should take just a little bit more time to find out what is really inside of these products!!! Maybe if people start to care, and stop buying products that harm whales, they will stop being produced, and the whales will become plentiful like they were many years ago.
