New Hampshire is probably the most scenic and environmentally refreshing state. Because of its wide variety of mountain ranges, it is known as the Granite State. There are many historical scenes. Some of them are the White Mountains National Forests and the Isle of Shoals, a series of islands off the coast. The Isle of Shoals is where there was a shipwreck during the 18th century. The island is a refuge for painters and poets. New Hampshire is also the home of a famous former resident by the name of Robert Frost.

New Hampshire is also known for its farms and wonderful Lakes Region. The state is filled with stone walls, fields, woodlands, streams, lakes, rivers and a wide variety of farms. There are many things to do during all months. During the summer, new Hampshire offers swimming in our clean lakes, and boating. Also swimming at the beach and enjoying the beauty of the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. The winter months offer lots of skiing and ice skating. The autumn offers the beautiful scenery of the colors of the changing leaves.

New Hampshire contains the highest mountains in New England. The highest peak, Mt Washington, is just over 6,000ft. There are many lakes, ponds, rivers and streams totaling to over 1,300. New Hampshire is a very beautiful and peaceful state. It's worth your while to visit!!
