Step Four: Finishing Up
Now you have
your small image in place on your large image. You may notice
that it doesn't
look exactly how you want it to, or that you may have done something
wrong
while editing the small image, well have no fear. First, select
"Window"
from the toolbar, scroll down to "Palettes" and select the "Show
Layers"
command. Layers allow you to manipulate parts of a picture
independently
of the rest of the picture. Think of a layer as a piece of glass with a
picture
on only part of it. The small image is now a layer on top of the
large
image. From the layer options box, select the layer with
the
small image on it. Near the top of
the
box, there is slider bar with the word "opacity" next to
it.
It should be at 100%; try moving it to 60%. If it looks good,
leave
it. It may, however, look either to transparent or not
transparent
enough, move the slider bar to adjust the opacity appropriately. Important
Note: some pictures may need to be rendered more transparent than
others,
do not necessarily use the same setting for all pictures. Now
save
your large image.
