Your
task in this activity is to create a very user friendly, presentation about
Ecosystems. Your overall goal is to create something that will be educational,
fun, and easy to use. The project will teach about the major ecosystems
found around our world and offer solutions to the problems that these systems
face. The project should represent ecosystems through artistic as well
as scientific methods. Biomes are Major Ecoystems: You will study ecosystems by exploring biomes. The major biomes of the world are: Tundra, Grassland, Marine, Temperate Forest, Tropical Rainforest, Savanna, and Desert. |

Pick one of the biomes listed above and create a presentation answering the following questions and definitions.
Essential Question: How are ecosystems important to communities in our biological world?
- What(answer all of these questions):
- What is an ecostystem? What is a biome?
- What kind of a climate is necessary for the ecosystem you chose?
- Where on the Earth is your biome found?
- So What: (Pick two)
- What are some limiting factors in your ecosystem?
- What kind of a food web might you find in your biome?
- What kinds of populations of plants and animals will you find in your ecosystem.
Population | Community | Abiotic |
Biotic | Limiting Factor | Producer |
Consumer | Decomposer | The Carbon Cycle |
